  • Measured equidistant from car park space sidelines to tyres, front and rear.
  • Measured equidistant from front and rear of the car to extremities of car park space.
  • Photographic evidence with a measurement display is required; measurement can be done with any item so long as it is consistent on all measurements.

A Grade – 90 to 99%

  • Eyeballed equidistant from front and rear of the car to extremities of car park space.

B Grade – 75 to 89%

  • Only one of the A Grade criteria is met.
  • Car is centralised to the car park space.

C Grade – 50 to 74%

  • None of the A Grade criteria is met.
  • Car is centralised to the car park space.

Notes

  • To qualify for a score the park has to be made in one motion, adjusting the park disqualifies a score.
  • Apart from 100%, scoring is done without measurements.
  • Entry for scoring is completed by posting a photo with your self assessed score to Instagram with #CarParkingChampion included.
  • 100% requires photographic evidence of measurements.
  • 50% of your score is achieved by parking the vehicle within the parking space confines.
  • Focus on the centre of the parking spot, if it is a small spot and a large car you can still score high if the vehicle is centred and outside the lined confines of the parking space; central to the parking space is key.
